Therewith we bless the Lord and Father; and therewith we curse men, who have been made after the likeness of God.
for all sinned, and are coming short of the glory of God;
because, having known God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor did they give thanks; but they became vain in their reasonings, and their senseless heart was darkened.

No one has ever beheld God. If we love one another, God abideth in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
Having, therefore, these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
so that ye may approve the things that are excellent; that ye may be pure and without offense to the day of Christ;
that ye may become blameless and harmless, children of God, irreproachable in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom ye appear as luminaries in the world,
A religion, pure and undefiled with our God and Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their tribulation, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
