But as God has distributed to every person so let him walk. And so I ordain in all the congregations.

They cast lots for their duties, all alike, the small as well as the great, the teacher as well as the pupil.

He will appoint them to be his officers over one thousand or over fifty soldiers. He will have them plow his ground and harvest his crops. He will require them to make weapons and equipment for his chariots.

At Jehovah's command through Moses each man was registered and told what to do and what to carry. So they were registered as Jehovah commanded Moses.

The king assigned a daily amount of the king's special rich food for them and also the wine that he drank. They were to be educated for three years. At the end of that time they would serve the king.
