Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves.

And as you would that men should do to you, do you also to them likewise.

But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;

He must increase, but I must decrease.

Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.

It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.

But you shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that does serve.

The king that faithfully judges the poor, his throne shall be established forever.

The king by justice establishes the land: but he that receives bribes overthrows it.

Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For our more respectable parts have no need: but God has arranged the body together, having given more abundant honor to that part which lacked: That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. And whether one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honored, all the members rejoice with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and members in particular. And God has set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helpers, administrators, various kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles? Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet I show unto you a more excellent way.

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.read more.
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teaches, on teaching; Or he that exhorts, on exhortation: he that gives, let him do it in simplicity; he that rules, with diligence; he that shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
