But if you do that which is evil, be afraid; for he bears not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, an avenger to execute wrath upon him that does evil.

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he has purchased with his own blood.
Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Preach the word; be diligent in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
But if the watchman sees the sword come, and blows not the trumpet, and the people are not warned; if the sword comes, and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

He that spares his rod hates his son: but he that loves him chastens him early.
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
One that rules well his own house, having his children in subjection with all respect;
Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honor your father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.
Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you; that your days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with you, in the land which the LORD your God gives you.

And on the next day when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the innkeeper, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever you spend more, when I come again, I will repay you. Which now of these three, think you, was neighbor unto him that fell among the thieves? And he said, He that showed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do you likewise.
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.
A righteous man regards the life of his animal: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moves upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
If you see the donkey of him who hates you lying under its burden, and would refrain to help him, you shall surely help with him.
