Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves of the sea are still. Then are they glad because they are quiet; so he bringeth them to their desired haven.

And he saith to them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. But the men marveled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you: not as the world giveth, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evil doers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

If the spirit of the ruler riseth against thee, leave not thy place; for yielding pacifieth great offenses.

And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
