Therefore be not anxious for the morrow: for the morrow will be solicitous for the things of itself. Sufficient to the day is its own evil.
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Be anxious for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Which of you by anxious care can add one cubit to his stature?
And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
Therefore I say to you, Be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than food, and the body than raiment?
But when they deliver you up, be not anxious how or what ye shall speak, for it shall be given to you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
Therefore be not anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or what shall we drink? or, with what shall we be clothed?
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he will sustain thee: he will never suffer the righteous to be moved.
And when they bring you to the synagogues, and before magistrates, and powers, be not solicitous how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
Heaviness in the heart of man depresseth it: but a good word maketh it glad.
For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool's voice is known by a multitude of words.
And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer.
Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.
If ye then are not able to do that thing which is least, why are ye anxious for the rest?
There is a difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman is anxious for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy, both in body and in spirit: but she that is married, is anxious for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
In the multitude of my thoughts within me, thy comforts delight my soul.
And Jesus answered, and said to her, Martha, Martha, thou art anxious, and troubled about many things:
But I would have you without anxious care. He that is unmarried, is anxious for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:
And that which fell among thorns are they, who, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.
But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, be not anxious beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Spirit.
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
But he that is married, is anxious for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.
And why are ye anxious for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field how they grow? they toil not, neither do they spin?
The sleep of a laboring man is sweet, whether he eateth little or much: but the abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
