Now concerning love of the brethren you have no need to have any one write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another;

Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; outdo one another in showing honor.

If anyone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not covet," and any other commandment there may be, are summed up in this sentence, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
