In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate one to another; in honor preferring one another;
So then, as we have opportunity, let's do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.

But whoever has the world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and closes his heart of compassion against him, how does the love of God remain in him? My little children, let's not love in word only, neither with the tongue only, but in deed and truth.
"The King will answer them, 'Most certainly I tell you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.'
One who gives to the poor has no lack; but one who closes his eyes will have many curses.
Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let's do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.
Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do.
Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance;
that there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.
