But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble in the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, said the LORD of the hosts.
For they do not sleep, unless they have done evil; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause someone to fall.
Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the man of violence, who have purposed to overthrow my steps.

Because of food, do not destroy the work of God. All things indeed are clean, but it is evil for that man who eats with offense.
It is good neither to eat flesh nor to drink wine nor do any thing by which thy brother stumbles or is offended or is sick.
