and when they came out of the ship, immediately the people knew Him, and ran through all the country, and carried about in beds those that were sick, where they heard He was.

These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have trouble: but be of good courage, I have overcome the world.

Then Paul, when the governor permitted him to speak, answered in this manner, "As I know that thou hast been many years a judge to this nation, I do the more chearfully answer for myself:

Let every one give as he chuses in his own heart; not with reluctance, or constraint: for God loveth a chearful giver.

Is any among you afflicted? let him pray: is any chearful? let him sing psalms.

Wherefore, Sirs, be of good courage; for I trust in God, that it shall be so, according as it was told me.

And being all encouraged they also took some food.
