Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the River to the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt: they brought tribute, and served Solomon all the days of his life.

I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, "Your eyes have seen all that the LORD your God has done to these two kings: so shall the LORD do to all the kingdoms where you go over. Do not fear them, for the LORD your God himself will fight for you."

The LORD will cause you to be struck before your enemies; you shall go out one way against them, and shall flee seven ways before them: and you shall be tossed back and forth among all the kingdoms of the earth.

Joshua turned back at that time, and took Hazor, and struck its king with the sword: for Hazor used to be the head of all those kingdoms.

The nations raged. The kingdoms were moved. He lifted his voice, and the earth melted.

The king's heart is in the LORD's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires.

Thus says the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held, to subdue nations before him, and strip kings of their armor; to open the doors before him, and the gates shall not be shut:

that men may declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem; when the peoples are gathered together, the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.

Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth. Sing praises to the Lord. Selah.

The nations will walk in its light. The kings of the earth bring their splendor into it. Its gates will in no way be shut by day (for there will be no night there), and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it so that they may enter.

This is the dream; and we will tell its interpretation before the king. You, O king, are king of kings, to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the power, and the strength, and the glory; and wherever the children of men dwell, the animals of the field and the birds of the sky has he given into your hand, and has made you to rule over them all: you are the head of gold.read more.
After you shall arise another kingdom inferior to yours; and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth. As for that which was broken, in the place where four stood up, four kingdoms shall arise out of his nation, but not with his power.

What more shall I say? For the time would fail me if I told of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and the prophets; who, through faith subdued kingdoms, worked out righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith.

Again, the devil took him to an exceedingly high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world, and their glory. And he said to him, "I will give you all of these things, if you will fall down and worship me." Then Jesus said to him, "Go away, Satan. For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him only.'"

Be ashamed, Sidon; for the sea has spoken, the stronghold of the sea, saying, "I have not travailed, nor brought forth, neither have I nourished young men, nor brought up virgins."
