Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him, and *said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no deceit!”
For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps, who committed no sin, nor was any deceit found in His mouth;
A lying tongue hates those it crushes,
And a flattering mouth works ruin.
Concerning evil, both hands do it well.

And a great man speaks the desire of his soul;

For the report of your obedience has reached to all; therefore I am rejoicing over you, but I want you to be wise in what is good and innocent in what is evil.
His grave was assigned with wicked men,
Yet He was with a rich man in His death,
Because He had done no violence,
Nor was there any deceit in His mouth.
How blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity,
And in whose spirit there is no deceit!
