And the angel said to him, Gird yourself and put on your sandals. And he did so. And he says to him, Throw your robe around you and follow me.

And she caught him by his robe, saying, Lie with me. And he left his robe in her hand and fled, and got out.

And it happened when Elijah heard, he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out, and stood at the cave entrance. And behold, a voice came to him and said, What are you doing here, Elijah?

And to him desiring to sue you, and to take away your tunic, let him have your coat also.

And to him who strikes you on the one cheek, also offer the other. And to him who takes away your garment, do not forbid your tunic also.

And behold, a woman, who had a flow of blood for twelve years, came up behind Him and touched the hem of His garment. For she said within herself, If only I shall touch His robe, I will be whole.

having heard about Jesus, she came in the press behind and touched His garment. For she said, If I may but touch only His clothes, I will be cured.

came behind Him and touched the border of His garment. And instantly her flow of blood was staunched.

And they begged Him that they might only touch the hem of His robe. And as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

And wherever He entered, into villages or cities or country, they laid the sick in the streets and begged Him if only they might touch but the fringe of His garment. And as many as touched Him were made whole.

nor let him in the field turn back to take his clothes.

And let him who is in the field not turn back again in order to take up his garment.

And they listened to him until this word, and then they lifted up their voice, saying, Take such a one from the earth! For it is not fitting that he should live. And as they shouted and tore their garments, and threw dust into the air, the chiliarch commanded him to be brought into the fortress, saying for him to be examined by scourging, so that he might know why they cried out so against him.

When you come, bring the cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus, and the books, especially the parchments.

And when I heard this thing, I tore my garment and my mantle, and plucked off the hair of my head and of my beard, and sat down stricken dumb.

And at the evening sacrifice I rose up from my affliction. And tearing my garment and my mantle, I fell on my knees and spread out my hands to Jehovah my God.

Let my foes be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own shame, as with a cloak.

As he clothed himself with cursing, as with his robe, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones. Let it be to him as the robe which covers him, and for a girdle with which he is always clothed.

Who has gone up to Heaven and has come down? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in His garments? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son's name? Surely you know.

For He put on righteousness like a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation on His head. And He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was covered with zeal like a cloak.

For neither at any time did we use flattering words, as you know, nor with pretense of covetousness; God is witness.

as free, and not having freedom as a cover of evil, but as servants of God.
