7 Bible Verses about Colts

But {an empty-headed person} will get understanding when a wild donkey's colt is born [as] a human being.

Binding his donkey to the vine and his donkey's colt to the choice vine, he washes his clothing in the wine and his garment in the blood of grapes.

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Look! Your king comes to you; he [is] righteous and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey, and on a male donkey, {the foal of} a female donkey!

saying to them, "Go into the village before you, and right away you will find a donkey tied and a colt with her. Untie [them] [and] bring [them] to me. And if anyone says anything to you, you will say, 'The Lord {needs them},' and he will send them at once." Now this took place so that what was spoken through the prophet would be fulfilled, saying,read more.
"Say to the daughter of Zion, 'Behold, your king is coming to you, humble and mounted on a donkey, and on a colt, the foal of a pack animal.'" So the disciples went and did just as Jesus directed them, [and] brought the donkey and the colt and put their cloaks on them, and he sat on them.

and said to them, "Go into the village before you, and right away [as you] enter into it you will find a colt tied, on which no one [has] ever sat. Untie it and bring [it]. And if anyone says to you, 'Why are you doing this?' say 'The Lord has need of it, and will send it here again at once.'" And they went away and found a colt tied at a door outside in the street, and they untied it.read more.
And some of those who were standing there said to them, "What are you doing, untying the colt?" So they told them, just as Jesus had said, and they allowed them [to take it]. And they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks over it, and he sat on it.

saying, 'Go into the village in front of [you], in which [as you] enter you will find a colt tied, on which {no person has ever} sat, and untie it [and] bring [it]. And if anyone asks you, 'Why are you untying [it]?' you will say this: 'The Lord has need of it.'" So those who were sent went [and] found [it] just as he had told them.read more.
And [as] they were untying the colt, its owners said to them, 'Why are you untying the colt?' So they said, 'The Lord has need of it.' And they brought it to Jesus, and throwing their cloaks on the colt, they put Jesus [on it].

"Do not be afraid, daughter of Zion! Behold, your king is coming, seated on the foal of a donkey!"
