for God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have eternal life. for God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. he that believeth on him, shall not be condemned: but he that believeth not, is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the only begotten son of God.

I declare unto you, he that heareth my doctrine, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come under condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Sentence of death therefore shall not pass upon those christians who do not lead a vicious life.
