1 Corinthians 2:10
But God has revealed those things to us by his Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the deep things of God.
1 Corinthians 2:9
But as it is written, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love him."
He reveals what is profoundly mysterious and knows what is in the darkness; with him dwells light.
They devise wicked schemes, saying, "We have completed our plans, hiding them deep in our hearts."
"Have you been to the source of the sea and walked about in the recesses of the deepest ocean? Have the gates of death been revealed to you? Have you seen the gates of the deepest darkness?
When he had finished speaking, he told Simon, "Push out into deep water, and lower your nets for a catch."
The woman told him, "Sir, you don't have a bucket, and the well is deep. Where are you going to get this living water?
"This is what the Lord GOD says: "You'll drink from your sister's cup, which is both large and deep. You'll become a laughing stock and an object of derision, since the cup is so full!
Now what does this "he went up" mean except that he also had gone down into the lower parts of the earth?
