While He was reclining at the table in the house, many tax collectors and sinners came as guests to eat with Jesus and His disciples. Then He said to them, “Now draw some out and take it to the chief servant.” And they did.

So they collected them and filled 12 baskets with the pieces from the five barley loaves that were left over by those who had eaten.

A meal was set before him, but he said, “I will not eat until I have said what I have to say.”

So Laban said, “Please speak.”

But they urged Him: “Stay with us, because it’s almost evening, and now the day is almost over.” So He went in to stay with them.

So they gave a dinner for Him there; Martha was serving them, and Lazarus was one of those reclining at the table with Him.

When Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to his steward, “Take the men to my house. Slaughter an animal and prepare it, for they will eat with me at noon.”
