And as Jesus sat at table in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came, and sat down with him and his disciples. And the Pharisees seeing it, said to his disciples, Why eateth your master with publicans and sinners? But Jesus hearing it, said to them, They that are whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

And a convenient day being come, when Herod on his birth-day made a feast, for his lords, captains, and principal men of Galilee:

And Levi made him a great entertainment, in his own house; and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them.

And he saith to them, Draw out now, and carry to the governor of the feast.

They therefore gathered them, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley-loaves, which remained over and above to them that had eaten.

But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us; for it is toward evening, and the day declines.

There they made him a supper, and Martha served; but Lazarus was one of them who sat at table with him.
