that there may be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same anxious care, one for another;

But I praise you not in this, which I now mention, that you come together, not for the better, but for the worse. For, in the first place, when you come together in the church, I hear that there are schisms among you, and I partly believe it:

I am astonished that you are so soon turning away from him that called you into the grace of Christ, to another gospel: which is nothing else than that there are some who trouble you, and are determined to pervert the gospel of the Christ.
