Nicodemus, who formerly went to Jesus by night, came likewise and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight. they took therefore the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, according to the manner of burial among the Jews.

Joseph then having taken the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,

who taking down the body, wrapped it in a fine linnen cloth, which he had bought, and laid it in a sepulchre, which was hewn out of a rock, and roll'd a stone for a door to the sepulchre: and Mary Magdalene,
