But, beloved; be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

For of Him, and through Him, and for Him, are all things. To Him be glory for ever. Amen.
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ: to Him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, to day, and for ever:
and now, O Father, glorify Thou me with thine own self, with the glory which I had with Thee before the world was made.
And in another place, "Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast founded the earth, and the heavens are the works of thy hands: they shall perish, but thou remainest; and they shall all grow old as a garment, and as a mantle wilt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed; but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail."
As He saith also in another place, "Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec."
but He, because He abideth for ever, hath a priesthood that passeth not to any other: wherefore also He is able to save to the uttermost, those that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.
And when I saw Him, I fell at his feet as dead; and He laid his right hand upon me, and said to me, "Fear not, I am the first and the last, who live, though I was dead; and behold, I am alive for ever and ever, Amen, and have the keys of hades and of death.
how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself spotless to God, purify your conscience from dead works, that ye may serve the living God?
