All things are delivered to me by my Father: and no one knoweth the Son, but the Father; nor does any one know the Father, but the Son, and he to whom the Son is pleased to reveal Him.

Then said they unto Him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye would have known my Father also.

And I have made known to them thy name, and will farther make it known; that the love wherewith Thou hast loved me, may be in them, and I also in them.

Who is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of the whole creation: for by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are on the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers; all were created by Him, and for Him. Who being the refulgence of his glory and the imprest image of his person, and sustaining all things by his powerful word, having by Himself performed the purging away of our sins, sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high.

And immediately he rose up before them, took up the bed on which he lay, and went away to his house, glorifying God. And they were all amazed and glorified God, and were filled with awe, saying, we have seen wonderful things to-day.

But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in Him.

Believe me therefore that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: at lest, believe me for the very works.

Now if we admit the testimony of men, sure the testimony of God is greater: and this is the testimony of God, which He hath testified concerning his Son.

For if these be in you and abound, they will not suffer you to be idle, nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

to declare, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing to them their trespasses, and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. We are therefore ambassadors for Christ, and as God exhorteth you by us, we intreat you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

and that He might reconcile both in one body unto God, by the cross, having thereby slain the enmity:

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: through whom also we have admission by faith into this grace in which we stand, and boast in hope of the glory of God.

For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

Let not your heart be troubled: believe in God, believe also in me.

These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have trouble: but be of good courage, I have overcome the world.

For He is our peace, who hath made both one, and removed the wall of partition from between us; having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that He might form the two into one new man, in Himself, so making peace; and that He might reconcile both in one body unto God, by the cross, having thereby slain the enmity:read more.

That they all may be one, as Thou, O Father, art in me, and I in Thee; that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me first. If ye were of the world, the world would love its own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember what I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you: if they have observed my word, they will also observe yours.read more.
But all these things will they do unto you, on my account, because they know not Him that sent me.

for they will excommunicate you: yea, the time is coming, that whosoever killeth you, will think that he offers an acceptable service to God. And these things will they do unto you; because they have not known the Father, nor me.

I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

And by this we know that we have known Him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whosoever keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: and by this we know that we are in Him.read more.

Then will they also answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee famishing, or a-thirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not relieve thee? Then will He reply to them, saying, Verily I tell you, inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the lest of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life everlasting.

If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father,

Abide therefore in me, and I will abide in you: for as the branch cannot bear fruit of it self, unless it abide in the vine; so neither can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches; he that abideth in me, and I in him, beareth much fruit: but without me ye can do nothing.
