9 Bible Verses about Extortion

And he said to them: Exact no more than that which is appointed you. And soldiers also asked him, saying: And what shall we do? And he said to them: Take nothing from any one by extortion, nor by false accusation, and be content with your pay.

But that servant went out, and found one of his fellow servants, who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hold of him, and took him by the throat, saying: Pay me what you owe.

And he said to them: Exact no more than that which is appointed you.
