Does a lion roar in the forest, when he has no prey? Does a young lion cry out from his den, if he has taken nothing?
The lion tore enough for his cubs and strangled prey for his lionesses; he filled his caves with prey and his dens with torn flesh.

See therefore and take note of all the lurking places where he hides, and come back to me with sure information. Then I will go with you. And if he is in the land, I will search him out among all the thousands of Judah."

For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walks on its mesh. A trap seizes him by the heel; a snare lays hold of him. A rope is hidden for him in the ground, a trap for him in the path.
The wicked have laid a snare for me, but I do not stray from your precepts.
The arrogant have hidden a trap for me, and with cords they have spread a net; beside the way they have set snares for me. Selah
