And the scribes and Pharisees watched him [to see] if he would perform a cure on the sabbath, that they might find [something of which] to accuse him.
and behold a man having a withered hand [was there]. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to cure on the sabbath? that they might accuse him.
And he said to them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? And they were silent.
And behold some of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemes.
Why does this man speak so? he blasphemes. Who can forgive sins but God alone?
And the scribes and Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this that speaks blasphemies? who can forgive sins, but God alone?
And when the Pharisees saw them they said to his disciples, Why does your teacher eat with publicans and sinners?

We heard him say, I will destroy this temple made with hands, and in three days will build another made without hands. And neither in this did their testimony agree.
Then some of the Pharisees said, This man is not of God, for he does not keep the sabbath. Others said, How can a sinful man perform such miracles? And there was a division among them.
