Alas for you, blind guides! who say, Whoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, becomes a debtor. Fools and blind! for which is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifies the gold?
And every one that hears these words of mine, and does them not, shall be likened to a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand.

I say again, let no one think that I am without understanding; but if so, even as one without understanding bear with me, that I also may boast a little.
