Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

He that is quickly angry deals foolishly: and a man of wicked intentions is hated.

He that trusts in his own heart is a fool: but whosoever walks wisely, he shall be delivered.

He that hides hatred with lying lips, and he that utters a slander, is a fool.

And every one that hears these sayings of mine, and does them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. But he that hears, and does not, is like a man that without a foundation built a house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
