Foolishness » Who is a fool

Matthew 7:26-28

"And every one who hears these words of Mine, and does them not, shall be likened to a foolish man, who, indeed, built his house upon the sand: and the rain descended, and the streams came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house; and it fell; and great was its fall." And it came to pass that, when Jesus ended these words, the multitudes were astonished at His teaching;

Luke 6:46-49

"But why do ye call Me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not the things that I say? "Every one who comes to Me, and hears My words, and does them, I will show you to whom he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug and went deep, and laid a foundation on the rock; and, a flood coming, the stream broke against that house, and could not shake it; because it was well built. read more.
