And, having come, He will convict the world respecting sin, and righteousness, and judgment: respecting sin, because they believe not on Me;

and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for not all have the faith.

To the pure all things are pure; but to the defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but both their mind and their conscience have become defiled. They profess to know God; but by their works they deny Him; being abominable, and disobedient, and for every good work worthless.

He that believes on the Son has eternal life; but he that disbelieves the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."

He that believes and is immersed shall be saved; but he that disbelieves shall be condemned.

And ye have not His word abiding in you; because Whom He sent, Him ye believe not. And, because I speak the truth, ye believe Me not.

Jesus answered them, "I told you, and ye did not believe: the works that I do in My Father's name, these testify concerning Me. But ye believe not, because ye are not of My sheep.

And He did not perform many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

And He could there do no mighty work, except that, laying His hands on a few sick people, He healed them. And He marvelled because of their unbelief. And He was going round about the villages, teaching.

Jesus said to him, "If you wish to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in Heaven; and come, follow Me." But the young man, having heard this saying, went away grieved; for he was one who had large possessions.

And Jesus, looking on him, loved him, and said to him, "One thing is wanting to you: go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in Heaven, and come, follow Me." But, becoming gloomy at this saying, he went away grieved; for he was one having great possessions.

And Jesus, hearing it said to him, "Yet one thing is lacking to you; sell all that you have, and distribute to the poor, and you shall have treasure in Heaven, and come, follow Me." And, when he heard these things, he became very sorrowful; for he was exceedingly rich.

And some were believing the things spoken, and some were disbelieving.

though formerly I was a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious; but I obtained mercy, because I, being ignorant, did it in unbelief;

"Therefore, I say to you, the Kingdom of God shall be taken away from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruit thereof.

They say to Him, "He will miserably destroy those miserable men, and will let out the vineyard to other husbandmen, who will render to him the fruits in their seasons."

What, therefore, will the lord of the vineyard do! He will come, and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard to others.

Wherefore? because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by works. They stumbled at the Stone of stumbling; as it has been written, "Behold, I lay in Zion a Stone of stumbling, and a Rock of offense; and he that believes on Him shall not be put to shame."

And, if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them, and became a joint-partaker of the root and of the fatness of the Olive tree; boast not against the branches. But, if you boast, it is not you that bear the root; but the root, you. You will say, then, "The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in."read more.
Well; by their unbelief they were broken off, but you have been standing by faith. Do not cherish lofty thoughts; but fear. For, if God spared not the natural branches, neither will He spare you.

Even so, then, at this present time also, a remnant, according to an election of grace, has been reserved.

I Say, then, did they stumble, that they might fall? It could not be! But by their trespass salvation has come to the gentiles to provoke them to rivalry. Now, if their trespass is the riches of the world, and their loss the riches of the gentiles, how much more their fulness?

But, seeing the wind, he was frightened; and, beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, "Lord, save me!" And immediately Jesus, stretching forth His hand, took hold of him, and saith to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?"

And, if God doth so clothe the grass of the field, that to-day is, and to-morrow is cast into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith! Be not, therefore, anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink!' or 'What shall we put on?' For after all these things the nations are seeking; for your Heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

Now, if God so clotheth the grass in the field, which to-day is, and to-morrow is cast into an oven, how much more shall He clothe you, O ye of little faith! And seek ye not what ye shall eat, and what ye shall drink; nor be troubled with anxiety; for after all these things are the nations of the world seeking; and your Father knoweth that ye need these things.

And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, so that the boat was being covered by the waves; but He was sleeping. And, coming to Him, they awoke Him, saying, "Lord, save; we are perishing!" And He saith to them, "Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?" Then, having arisen, He rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

And He Himself was in the stern, sleeping on the cushion; and they awake Him, and say to Him, "Teacher, is it no concern to Thee that we perish?" And, having been roused up, He rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace! be still!" And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And He said to them, "Why are ye fearful? Have ye not yet faith?"

But, as they were sailing, He fell asleep. And there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were being filled full of water, and were in peril. And, coming near, they awoke Him, saying, "Master, Master, we perish!" And, having arisen, He rebuked the wind and the raging of the water; and they ceased, and it became calm. And He said to them, "Where is your faith?" And, struck with fear, they marvelled, saying one to another, "Who, then, is This, that He commandeth even the winds and the water, and they obey Him!"

And Jesus, answering, said, "O faithless and perverted generation! How long shall I be with you? Bring him here to Me." And Jesus rebuked it, and the demon went out of him, and the boy was healed from that hour. Then the disciples, coming near, said to Jesus privately, "Why could not we cast it out?"read more.
And He saith to them, "Because of your little faith. For verily I say to you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say to this mountain, 'Remove hence yonder,' and it will be removed, and nothing shall be impossible to you."

And one of the multitude answered Him, "Teacher, I have brought to Thee my son, who has a dumb spirit; and wheresoever it seizes upon him, it tears him, and he foams, and gnashes his teeth, and pines away. And I spake to Thy disciples, that they should cast it out; and they were not able." And He, answering, saith to them, "O faithless generation! how long shall I be with you! how long shall I bear with you? Bring him to Me."

and I besought Thy disciples to cast it out, but they were not able." And Jesus answering, said, "O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you, and bear with you? Bring your son here." And, while he was yet coming, the demon thrust him down, and greatly convulsed him. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.

And Jesus, knowing it, said, "Why are ye deliberating among yourselves, O ye of little faith, because ye have no bread? Do ye not yet perceive, nor remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? Nor the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?

And He said to them, "O inconsiderate and slow in heart to believe in all that the prophets spake!
