Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yes, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also perform it.

Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

And we know that all things work together for good, to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the first-born among many brethren. But those things which God before had shown by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached to you, unless ye have believed in vain.

We then, as co-workers with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succored thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

For this ye know, that no lewd, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

For it is impossible for those who have been once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit. And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again to repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will privately bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

While it is said, To-day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To-day, if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who he was that would betray him.

Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast a hook, and take the fish that first cometh up: and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: take that, and give to them for me and thee.

Then saith Jesus to them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad. And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock will not crow this day, before thou wilt thrice deny that thou knowest me.

Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say to thee, The cock will not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.

Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.

And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say to him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.

And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders, and the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

Ye have heard that I said to you, I go away, and come again to you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go to the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thy ownself, with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

Jesus therefore, knowing all things that were coming upon him, went forth, and said to them, Whom seek ye?

After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.

For the Son of man will come in the glory of his Father, with his angels; and then he will reward every man according to his works.

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

And then they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then he will send his angels, and will assemble his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then will he sit upon the throne of his glory:

Whoever therefore shall be ashamed of me, and of my words, in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also will the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

For whoever shall be ashamed of me, and of my words, of him will the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in that of his Father, and of the holy angels.

Ought not Christ to suffer these things, and to enter into his glory?
