Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief to the brethren who dwelt in Judea.

Neither was there any among them that was in want: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made to every man according as he had need.

That in a great trial of affliction, the abundance of their joy, and their deep poverty, abounded to the riches of their liberality.

And they brought their offering before the LORD, six covered wagons, and twelve oxen; a wagon for two of the princes, and for each one an ox: and they brought them before the tabernacle.

And he looked up, and saw rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. And he saw also a certain poor widow, casting in thither two mites. And he said, Of a truth I say to you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all. read more.
For all these have of their abundance cast in to the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.

And they spoke to Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make.
