And calling the multitude unto him with his disciples, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

But none of these things move me, neither do I count my life dear unto myself, only that I might finish my course with joy and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.
And they have overcome him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
He that finds his life shall lose it, and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it.
Then Peter answered and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, to judge the twelve tribes of Israel. And every one that has forsaken houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands for my name's sake shall receive a hundredfold and shall inherit eternal life.
Then Peter began to say unto him, Behold, we have left all and have followed thee. And answering him, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, There is no one that has left house or brethren or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands for my sake and the gospel's who shall not receive one hundredfold now in this time: houses and brethren and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions, and in the world to come eternal life.
Then Peter said, Behold, we have left all and followed thee. And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no one that has left house or parents or brethren or wife or children for the kingdom of God's sake who shall not receive manifold more in this present time and in the age to come, eternal life.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
Whosoever shall seek to save his soul shall lose it, and whosoever shall lose it shall cause it to live.
Whosoever sacrifices praise glorifies me; and to him that orders his ways aright I will show the salvation of God.
Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
neither dishonest words nor foolishness nor low jesting, which are not convenient, but rather giving of thanks.
Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God.read more.
And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
rooted and built up in him and confirmed in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, into which likewise ye are called into one body, and be ye thankful.
Therefore, receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us hold fast to the grace, by which we serve God, pleasing him with reverence and godly fear:
