And Saul arose from the earth; but when his eyes were opened, he saw nothing; and they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus. And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank.

And as I could not see by reason of the brightness of that light, I was led by the hand of those that were with me, and came into Damascus.

And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou wilt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and darkness; and going about he sought to find some who would lead him by the hand.

as it is written: "God gave them a spirit of slumber, eyes that were not to see, and ears that were not to hear, unto this day."

And Jesus said, For judgment came I into this world; that they who see not might see, and that they who see might become blind.
