Beloved, now are we children of God, and it hath not yet been manifested what we shall be. We know that, when it shall be manifested, we shall be like him; because we shall see him as he is.

Father! as to that which thou hast given me, I desire that they also be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory which thou hast given me; for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

having a wall great and high; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel;

And after this, I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that no wind should blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. And I saw another angel coming up from the rising of the sun, having the seal of the living God; and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, saying, Hurt not the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads. read more.
And I heard the number of the sealed. A hundred and fortyfour thousand were sealed out of all the tribes of the sons of Israel. Out of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Manasseh, twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Issachar, twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand were sealed.

And passing by Mysia, they came to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. There stood a man of Macedonia beseeching him and saying, Come over into Macedonia and help us. And when he had seen the vision, we immediately endeavored to go into Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to publish the glad tidings to them.

He will glorify me, for he will receive of what is mine, and will tell it to you. Every thing that the Father hath is mine. For this cause I said, that he receiveth of what is mine, and will tell it to you.

By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing him who is invisible.

And if thy right eye cause thee to offend, pluck it out, and cast it from thee; for it is better for thee that one of thy members should perish, than that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

And when the Lord saw her, he was moved with compassion for her, and said to her, Weep not.

Jesus therefore when he saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping who came with her, was greatly moved in his spirit, and much troubled,

Jesus saw this man lying there, and knowing that he had been for a long time diseased, saith to him, Dost thou wish to be made well?

And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and said to him, Zacchaeas, make haste and come down; for today I must abide at thy house.

And Jesus, as soon as he was baptized, went up from the water; and, lo! the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God, descending like a dove, coming upon him.

and the Holy Spirit descended upon him in a bodily shape as a dove; and a voice came from heaven: "Thou art my beloved Son; with thee I am well pleased."

And John bore witness, saying, I have seen the Spirit descending as a dove from heaven, and it abode upon him. And I knew him not; but he who sent me to baptize in water, the same said to me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending and abiding on him, he it is that baptizeth in the Holy Spirit. And I have seen and have borne witness, that this is the Son of God.

And immediately on coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens parted, and the Spirit descending as a dove upon him.

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted up that every one who believeth in him may have everlasting life.

For ye have not come to a mount that can be touched, and burning with fire, and to blackness, and darkness, and tempest, and the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words, which voice they who heard, entreated that no more should be spoken to them; for they could not bear that which was commanded, "If even a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned;" and, read more.
so terrible was the sight, Moses said: "I exceedingly fear and tremble;"

because all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Again, the Devil taketh him m an exceeding high mountain, and showeth him all the kingdoms of the world, and their glory;

And it came to pass about eight days after this discourse, that he took with him Peter and John and James, and went up into the mountain to pray. And while he was praying, the appearance of his countenance was changed, and his raiment became white and glistening. And lo! two men were talking with him, who were Moses and Elijah; read more.
who appeared in glory, and spoke of his departure which he was about to fulfill in Jerusalem. But Peter and those who were with him were weighed down with sleep. But when they awoke, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him. And it came to pass as they were parting from him, that Peter said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tents, one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah; not knowing what he said. But as he was saying this, there came a cloud and overshadowed them; and they were afraid as they entered the cloud. And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, "This is my chosen Son; hear him." And when the voice had come, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it secret, and told no one in those days anything of what they had seen.

And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John his brother, and leadeth them up into a high mountain apart. And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone as the sun; and his garments became white as the light. And lo! there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, talking with him. read more.
And Peter answering said to Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here; if thou wilt, I will make here three tents; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah. While he was yet speaking, lo! a bright cloud overshadowed them; and lo! a voice out of the cloud, saying, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; hear him." And the disciples hearing it, fell on their face, and were exceedingly afraid. And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid. And lifting up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only. And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell what hath been seen to no one, until the Son of man hath risen from the dead.

Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are not ye my work in the Lord?

And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus; and suddenly there shone around a him a light from heaven; and he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And he answered, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. read more.
But arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

And he said, Come. And Peter, coming down from the boat, walked on the water, and came to Jesus. But seeing the wind, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, Lord, save me!

And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fallen out of heaven to the earth, and to him was given the key of the pit of the abyss;

And the third angel sounded, and there fell from heaven a great star, burning as a torch, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters. And the name of the star is called Wormwood; and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

He will glorify me, for he will receive of what is mine, and will tell it to you. Every thing that the Father hath is mine. For this cause I said, that he receiveth of what is mine, and will tell it to you.

And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were a flame of fire, and on his head were many diadems; and he had names written, and a name written which no one knoweth but he himself; and he was clothed with a garment dipped in blood; and his name is called, The Word of God. read more.
And the armies which are in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and pure. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he may smite the nations; and he will rule them with a rod of iron; and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God Almighty. And I saw when he had opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the whole moon became as blood,

And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire; and he cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for the grapes of the earth are fully ripe. And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the fruit of the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the authority of the first beast in his presence; and causeth the earth and those who dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great signs, so that he even causeth fire to come down from heaven on the earth, in the sight of men. read more.
And he deceiveth them that dwell on the earth, by reason of the signs which it was given him to do in the presence of the beast; commanding those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast which had the wound by a sword, and lived. And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should even speak, and cause that all who did not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the flee and the bond, to receive a mark on their right hand, or on their forehead; and that no one shall be able to buy or sell, except him that hath the mark, the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man, and his number is six hundred and sixtysix.

And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him who sat on the horse, and against his army. read more.
And the beast was seized and he who was with him, the false prophet who wrought the signs in his presence, with which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast, and who worshipped his image; the two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were slain with the sword of him who sat upon the horse, the sword which proceeded out of his mouth; and all the birds were glutted with their flesh.

And it came to pass after my return to Jerusalem, while I was praying in the temple, that I fell into a trance, and saw him saying to me, Make haste, and go quickly out of Jerusalem; for they will not receive thy testimony concerning me. And I said, Lord, they know that I imprisoned, and beat in every synagogue, those that believed in thee; read more.
and when the blood of Stephen, thy witness, was shed, I myself was standing by and consenting, and keeping the garments of those who slew him. And he said to me, Depart; for I will send thee far hence to the gentiles.

And they went up upon the breadth of the earth, and encompassed the camp of the saints, and the beloved city; and fire came down out of heaven, and devoured them. And the Devil who deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where are also the beast and the false prophet; and they will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

And another, a second angel, followed, saying: Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, which hath made all the nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. And another, a third angel, followed them, saying with a loud voice: If any one worship the beast and his image, and receive the mark on his forehead or on his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation, and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the angels, and in the presence of the Lamb. read more.
And the smoke of their torment goeth up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worshiped the beast and his image, and whoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the endurance of the saints, who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. And I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me; and having turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks, read more.
and in the midst of the candlesticks one like to a son of man, clothed with a garment reaching down to the feet, and girded at the breasts with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white as white wool, as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; and his feet were like fine brass, as if burning in a furnace; and his voice was as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars; and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword; and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead; and he laid his right hand on me, saying, Fear not; I am the first and the last, and he that liveth; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore; and I have the keys of death and the underworld. Write therefore the things which thou sawest, and the things which are, and the things which shall be after these; the mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches; and the seven candlesticks are the seven churches.

And I stood upon the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and upon his horns ten diadems, and upon his heads names of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed. And the whole earth wondered after the beast. read more.
And they worshipped the dragon, because he gave the authority to the beast; and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like to the beast, and who is able to make war with him? And there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemy; and power was given to him to work fortytwo months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. And it was given to him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them; and power was given him over every tribe, and people, and tongue, and nation. And all who dwell on the earth wilt worship him, every one whose name hath not been written in the book of life of the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world. If any one hath an ear, let him hear. If any one [leadeth] into captivity he shall go into captivity; if any one shall kill with the sword, he must be killed with the sword. Here is the endurance and the faith of the saints.

And I saw another strong angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud, and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire. And he had in his hand a little book open. And he set his right foot upon the sea, and the left upon the land; and he cried with a loud voice, as a lion roars. And when he had cried, the seven thunders uttered their voices. read more.
And when the seven thunders had spoken, I was about to write; and I heard a voice from heaven saying, Seal up the things which the seven thunders spoke, and write them not. And the angel whom I saw standing upon the sea, and upon the land, lifted up his right hand to heaven, and swore by him who liveth for ever and ever, who created the heaven, and the things therein, and the earth and the things therein, and the sea, and the things therein, that there should be no longer delay; but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then should be finished the mystery of God, as he declared the glad tidings to his servants the prophets. And the voice which I heard out of heaven I heard again speaking to me, and saying: Go, take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who is standing upon the sea, and upon the land. And I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little book. And he saith to me, Take it, and eat it up; and it will make thy stomach bitter, but in thy mouth it will be sweet as honey. And I took the little book out of the angels hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey; and when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.

And the number of the armies of the horsemen was two hundred thousand thousand; I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and those who sat on them, having breastplates of a fiery, and a dark blue, and a brimstone color; and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions, and out of their mouths issued fire, and smoke, and brimstone. By these three plagues was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and the smoke, and the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. read more.
For the power of the horses is in their mouth, and in their tails; for their tails are like to serpents, having heads; and with them they do hurt.

And another sign was seen in heaven; and behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems; and his tail dragged the third part of the stars of heaven, and cast them to the earth. And the dragon standeth before the woman who was about to bring forth, that when she hath brought forth he may devour her child. And she brought forth a manchild, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to God, and to his throne. read more.
And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared by God, that they should nourish her there a thousand two hundred and sixty days. And there was war in heaven; Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent, called the Devil and Satan, who deceiveth the whole world; he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him. And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, Now is come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ; for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, who accused them before our God day and night; and they conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives, even to death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea! for the Devil is come down to you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. And when the dragon saw that he was cast down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who brought forth the manchild. And to the woman were given the two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a river, after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the river. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth. And the dragon was enraged at the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God, and maintain the testimony to Jesus.

And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olivetrees, and the two candlesticks, which stand before the Lord of the earth. And if any one designs to hurt them, fire goeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies; and if any one designs to hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. read more.
These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy; and have power over the waters, to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with every plague, as often as they will. And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that cometh up out of the abyss will make war against them, and will overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord also was crucified. And some from among the peoples, and tribes, and tongues, and nations, will look upon their dead bodies three days and a half, and will not suffer their dead bodies to be put into a tomb. And they that dwell upon the earth will rejoice over them, and make merry, and will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwelt on the earth. And after three days and a half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon those who saw them. And they heard a loud voice from heaven, saying to them, Come up hither; and they went up into heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

But the angel said to him, Fear not, Zachariah; for thy prayer was heard, and thy wife Elizabeth shall bear thee a son; and thou shalt call his name John. And thou wilt have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice for his birth. For he will be great in the sight of the Lord; and will drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit from his very birth. read more.
And many of the sons of Israel will he turn to the Lord their God. And he will go before his face in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of fathers to children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous, to make ready for the Lord a prepared people. And Zachariah said to the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife is far advanced in years. And the angel answering said to him, I am Gabriel, who stand in the presence of God; and I was sent to speak to thee, and to tell thee these glad tidings. And lo! thou shalt be silent, and not able to speak, until the day when these things shall come to pass, because thou didst not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their season. And the people were looking for Zachariah, and wondering that he remained so long in the temple. And on coming out, he was not able to speak to them; and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple; and he was beckoning to them, and remained speechless.

And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias, and to him the Lord said in a vision, Ananias! And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. And the Lord said to him, Arise, and go into the street called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus; for lo! he prayeth, and hath seen a man, named Ananias, coming in and putting his hand on him, that he might receive sight.

But, being full of the Holy Spirit, he looked up earnestly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, and said, Lo, I behold the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

On the morrow, as they were on their journey, and were drawing near the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray, about the sixth hour. And he became very hungry and wished to eat; but while they were making ready, a trance came upon him, and he beheld heaven opened, and a sort of vessel descending, as it were a large sheet having cords at the four corners, and let down upon the earth; read more.

But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything common and unclean. And a voice came to him again, the second time, That which God hath cleansed, call not thou common. This was done three times; and the vessel was immediately taken up into heaven. Now, while Peter was doubting within himself what the vision which he had seen meant, lo! the men who were sent from Cornelius had made inquiry for Simons house, and stood before the gate; and they called, and asked whether Simon, surnamed Peter, lodged there.

It is indeed not expedient for me to boast; I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. I know a man in Christ, fourteen years ago,whether in the body, I know not, or whether out of the body, I know not; God knoweth,such a one caught up even to the third heaven. that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

And the Lord said to Paul through a vision in the night, Be not afraid, but speak on, and be not silent; for I am with thee, and no one shall lay hands on thee, to hurt thee; for I have much people in this city.

And I saw another angel flying in midheaven, having an everlasting message of good tidings to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and tribe, and tongue, and people; saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him, for the hour of his judgment is come; and worship him that made the heaven, and the earth, and sea, and fountains of waters.

And I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold of the dragon, the old serpent, which is the Devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, and cast him into the abyss, and shut him up and set a seal over him, that he may deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years are ended: after that he must be loosed for a short time.

And there was given me a reed like to a staff, a voice saying: Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein; but the court which is outside the temple, leave out, and measure it not, for it hath been given to the gentiles; and the holy city will they tread under foot fortytwo months.

And I saw, and lo! the Lamb stood on Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and fortyfour thousand, having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of loud thunder; and the voice which I heard was as that of harpers, harping with their harps. And they sing a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one was able to learn the song but the hundred and fortyfour thousand, who were redeemed from the earth. read more.
These are they who were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they who follow the Lamb wherever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, a firstfruits to God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no falsehood; for they are without fault.

After these things I heard as it were a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, Hallelujah I The salvation, and the glory, and the power, belong to our God; for true and righteous are his judgments; for he hath judged the great harlot, who corrupted the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. And the twentyfour elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen, hallelujah! And a voice came forth from the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, the small and the great. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunders, saying, Hallelujah! for the Lord our God the Almighty reigneth. Let us rejoice and exult, and we will give to him the glory; for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready; and it was given to her that she should be clothed in fine linen, shining and pure. For the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints. And he saith to me, Write, Blessed are they who are called to the marriagesupper of the Lamb. And he saith to me, These are the true words of God.

and he cried with a loud voice, as a lion roars. And when he had cried, the seven thunders uttered their voices. And when the seven thunders had spoken, I was about to write; and I heard a voice from heaven saying, Seal up the things which the seven thunders spoke, and write them not.

And there was war in heaven; Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent, called the Devil and Satan, who deceiveth the whole world; he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him.

And out of the smoke went forth locusts upon the earth, and to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power; and it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, nor any green thing, nor any tree, but only those men who have not the seal of God upon their foreheads; and it was given to them that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months; and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when it hath struck a man. read more.
And in those days men will seek death, and shall not find it; and will desire to die, and death will flee from them. And the shapes of the locusts were like horses prepared for battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men; and they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. And they have tails like scorpions, and stings; and in their tails is their power to hurt men five months. They have over them a king, the angel of the abyss, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek he hath for his name Apollyon.

But, being full of the Holy Spirit, he looked up earnestly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

And suddenly there came out of heaven a sound, as of a rushing mighty wind; and it filled the whole house where they were sitting; and there appeared to them tongues as of fire, distributing themselves; and one sat upon each of them.

And I saw another angel coming up from the rising of the sun, having the seal of the living God; and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, saying, Hurt not the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads. Out of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Manasseh, twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Issachar, twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand; out of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand were sealed.

And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea; and the third part of the sea became blood; and the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire; and he cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for the grapes of the earth are fully ripe.

And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged out of the things written in the books, according to their works.

The second woe is past; behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

and before the throne there was as it were a sea of glass like to crystal; and in the middle before the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes before and behind. And the first living creature was like a lion, and the second living creature like a calf, and the third living creature had the face of a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. And the four living creatures, having each of them six wings, around and within are full of eyes; and they have no rest day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was, and who is, and who is to come.

And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and without, sealed fast with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose its seals? And no one in heaven, nor on the earth, nor under the earth, was able to open the book, nor to look thereon. read more.
And I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open the book, nor to look thereon. And one of the elders saith to me, Weep not; behold, the Lion that is of the tribe of Judah, the shoot from David, conquered, he that openeth the book, and its seven seals.

And death and the underworld were cast into the lake of fire; this is the second death, the lake of fire.

Immediately I was in the Spirit; and lo! a throne was set ha heaven, and one sat on the throne. And he who sat was in appearance like a jasper stone and a sardius; and there was a rainbow around the throne like in appearance to an emerald.

And I saw a great white throne, and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away, and no place was found for them.

And in that hour there was a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain seven thousand men; and the rest became afraid, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

And I saw, and lo! a white horse, and he that sat on him, having a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, Come! And there went forth another horse, that was red; and to him that sat thereon it was given to take peace from the earth, and that men should slay one another; and there was given to him a great sword. read more.
And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, Come! And I saw, and lo! a black horse, and he that sat on him, having a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, A quart of wheat for a denary, and three quarts of barley for a denary; and, Hurt not the oil and the wine. And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the fourth living creature saying, Come! And I saw, and lo! a pale horse, and the name of him that sat on him was Death; and the underworld was following with him; and there was given to them power over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with famine, and with death, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

saw in a vision plainly, about the ninth hour of the day, an angel of God coming in to him, and saying to him, Cornelius!

And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars, so that the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night in like manner.

And the first departed, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men who had the mark of the beast, and who worshipped his image.

saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, Loose the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.

And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that cometh up out of the abyss will make war against them, and will overcome them, and kill them.

These are the two olivetrees, and the two candlesticks, which stand before the Lord of the earth.

And the name of the star is called Wormwood; and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

And after these things I saw, and the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened;

And he showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, coming out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who had gained the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over the number of his name, standing at the sea of glass, having harps of God.

and before the throne there was as it were a sea of glass like to crystal; and in the middle before the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes before and behind.

Between the street of the city and the river, on one side and on the other, is the tree of life, hearing twelve kinds of fruit, and yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. There stood a man of Macedonia beseeching him and saying, Come over into Macedonia and help us.

and hath seen a man, named Ananias, coming in and putting his hand on him, that he might receive sight.

And around the throne were twentyfour thrones; and upon the thrones I saw the twentyfour elders sitting, clothed in white garments, and on their heads crowns of gold.

And the first sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth; and the third part of the earth was burnt up, and the third part of the trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

And when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twentyfour elders fell down before the Lamb, having each one a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

And out of the throne proceed lightnings, and voices and thunders; and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven spirits of God;

And after this, I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that no wind should blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

After this I saw, and lo! an open door in heaven; and the former voice, which I heard as of a trumpet speaking with me, said, Come up hither, and I will show thee what things must take place after these.

And the angel took the censer, and filled it from the fire of the altar, and cast it upon the earth; and there followed thunders, and lightnings, and voices, and an earthquake.

and he opened the pit of the abyss. And there went up a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
