11 Bible Verses about Help The Weak

And we urge you, brothers, admonish the disorderly, console the discouraged, help the sick, be patient toward all [people].

Strengthen [the] weak hands and make [the] staggering knees firm.

Therefore strengthen your slackened hands and your weakened knees,

Blessed [is the one who] has regard for [the] poor; in [the] day of disaster, Yahweh delivers him.

But we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

Now receive the one who is weak in faith, [but] not for quarrels about opinions.

But this knowledge [is] not in everyone. But some, being accustomed until now to the idol, eat [this food] as food sacrificed to idols, and their conscience, [because it] is weak, is defiled. But food does not bring us close to God. For neither if we eat do we have more, nor if we do not eat do we lack. But watch out lest somehow this right of yours becomes a cause for stumbling to the weak.read more.
For if someone should see you who has knowledge reclining for a meal in an idol's temple, will not his conscience, [because it] is weak, be strengthened so that [he] eats the food sacrificed to idols? For the one who is weak--the brother for whom Christ died--is destroyed by your knowledge. Now [if you] sin in this way against the brothers and wound their conscience, which is weak, you sin against Christ.

"How you have helped {one who has no power}! [How] you have assisted [the] arm {that has no strength}!

I have shown you [with respect to] all [things] that [by] working hard in this way it is necessary to help those who are in need, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus that he himself said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive."

But watch out lest somehow this right of yours becomes a cause for stumbling to the weak.

For the one who is weak--the brother for whom Christ died--is destroyed by your knowledge.
