Woe unto the shepherds that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith Jehovah.

My people are lost sheep; their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they turned them away on the mountains: they went from mountain to hill, they forgot their resting-place.

And they were scattered because there was no shepherd; and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, and were scattered. Like sheep are they laid in Sheol: Death feedeth on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their comeliness shall be for Sheol to consume, that there be no habitation for them.
