And he said to him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith to him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder: thou shalt not commit adultery; thou shalt not steal; thou shalt not bear false witness; Honour thy father and mother, and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

But there rose up, said they, certain of the sect of the Pharisees who believed, saying, That we ought to circumcise them, and command them to keep the law of Moses.

Take them and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all will know, that there is nothing of those things which they have heard of thee; but that thou thyself walkest orderly, keeping the law.

Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God.

But he said, Yea, rather blessed are they, that hear the word of God and keep it.

That thou keep the commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, Which in his times the blessed and only Potentate will shew,

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments; and his commandments are not grievous.

But be ye doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves:
