Now there was a certain rich man, who was clothed in purple and fine linen, living voluptuously and splendidly every day.

And it was given to her, that she should be arrayed in fine linen clean and bright: for the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints.

and Joseph took the body and wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,

who had only a linen cloth wrapt about him, and the young men laid hold on him;

So they took the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen cloths, with the spices, as the custom of the Jews is to bury.

But Peter arose and ran to the sepulchre; and stooping down he saw the linen cloths lying by themselves: and he went away, wondering in himself at what had happened.

And he that had been dead came forth, having his feet and hands rolled up in grave-cloths: and his face bound about with a napkin. Then Jesus bid them, Loosen him and let him go.

and stooping down to look in saw the linen cloths lying; but did not go in. Then cometh Simon Peter, who followed him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen cloths lying there; and the napkin that was upon his head, not laid with the linen cloths, but folded up by itself.

And the armies in heaven followed Him on white horses, clothed in fine linen white and clean.
