They delight in the nearness of God.

You hypocrites (play-actors, pretenders), rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you when he said,

For they teach as doctrines the precepts of men.’”

Teaching the precepts of men as doctrines [giving their traditions equal weight with the Scriptures].’

Matthew 7:15-23

“Beware of the false prophets, [teachers] who come to you dressed as sheep [appearing gentle and innocent], but inwardly are ravenous wolves. But the goal of our instruction is love [which springs] from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. read more.

Who requires this of you, this trampling of My [temple] courts [by your sinful feet]?

And chose that in which I did not delight.”
