Absalom’s servants came to the woman at the house and asked, “Where are Ahimaaz and Jonathan?”“They passed by toward the water,” the woman replied to them. The men searched but did not find them, so they returned to Jerusalem.
2 Kings 2:17

You will look for Me, but you will not find Me; and where I am, you cannot come.”

Some wandered in the desolate wilderness,
finding no way to a city where they could live.
The Almighty—we cannot reach Him—
He is exalted in power!
He will not oppress justice and abundant righteousness,
They go with their flocks and herds
to seek the Lord
but do not find Him;
He has withdrawn from them.
Then they will call me, but I won’t answer;
they will search for me, but won’t find me.
