I am bent over and brought low; all day long I go around in mourning. For my loins are full of burning pain, and there is no health in my body. He lived in the tombs. No one was able to restrain him any more-even with chains- because he often had been bound with shackles and chains, but had snapped off the chains and smashed the shackles. This is what the Lord says concerning these people: Truly they love to wander; they never rest their feet. So the Lord does not accept them. Now He will remember their guilt and punish their sins.
My people are lost sheep; their shepherds have led them astray, guiding them the wrong way in the mountains. They have wandered from mountain to hill; they have forgotten their resting place.
Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you, avoiding irreverent, empty speech and contradictions from the "knowledge" that falsely bears that name. By professing it, some people have deviated from the faith. Grace be with all of you.

Since You are banishing me today from the soil, and I must hide myself from Your presence and become a restless wanderer on the earth, whoever finds me will kill me."
People will stagger from sea to sea and roam from north to east, seeking the word of the Lord, but they will not find it.
For the idols speak falsehood, and the diviners see illusions; they relate empty dreams and offer empty comfort. Therefore [the people] wander like sheep; they suffer affliction because there is no shepherd.
You will keep in perfect peace the mind [that is] dependent [on You], for it is trusting in You.
For the Lord God , the Holy One of Israel, has said: "You will be delivered by returning and resting; your strength will lie in quiet confidence. But you are not willing."
Don't worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
"Stop [your fighting]-and know that I am God, exalted among the nations, exalted on the earth."
The result of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quiet confidence forever.
This is what the Lord says: Stand by the roadways and look. Ask about the ancient paths: Which is the way to what is good? Then take it and find rest for yourselves. But they protested: We won't!
So don't worry, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear?' For the idolaters eagerly seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
"Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. All of you, take up My yoke and learn from Me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for yourselves. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
