We will not hide them from their sons, shewing forth to the generation to come the praises of Jehovah, and his strength, and his marvellous works which he hath done.

Ye endure for chastening, God conducts himself towards you as towards sons; for who is the son that the father chastens not?

Fathers, do not vex your children, to the end that they be not disheartened.

And Abraham was old, and advanced in age; and Jehovah had blessed Abraham in all things. And give to Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all, and to build the palace, for which I have made provision.
