Put them in mind to be subject to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient to rule, to be ready to do every good work,

And who shall injure you if ye have become imitators of that which is good?

as to diligent zealousness, not slothful; in spirit fervent; serving the Lord.

When therefore the Samaritans came to him they asked him to abide with them, and he abode there two days.

And as they went out they begged that these words might be spoken to them the ensuing sabbath.

And these were more noble than those in Thessalonica, receiving the word with all readiness of mind, daily searching the scriptures if these things were so.

Occupy thyself with these things; be wholly in them, that thy progress may be manifest to all.

And they came, every one whose heart moved him, and every one whose spirit prompted him; they brought Jehovah's heave-offering for the work of the tent of meeting, and for all its service, and for the holy garments. But now also complete the doing of it; so that as there was the readiness to be willing, so also to complete out of what ye have.

only that we should remember the poor, which same thing also I was diligent to do.

and said, Come with me, and see my zeal for Jehovah. So they made him ride in his chariot.

And his disciples remembered that it is written, The zeal of thy house devours me.

so that ye come short in no gift, awaiting the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Wherefore ye also, be ye ready, for in that hour that ye think not the Son of man comes.

And ye therefore, be ye ready, for in the hour in which ye do not think it, the Son of man comes.

For the anxious looking out of the creature expects the revelation of the sons of God:

And not only that, but even we ourselves, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, we also ourselves groan in ourselves, awaiting adoption, that is the redemption of our body.

For we, by the Spirit, on the principle of faith, await the hope of righteousness.

for our commonwealth has its existence in the heavens, from which also we await the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour,
