Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife; and they shall be one flesh.

And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother and shall be joined to his wife, and they shall be two in one flesh.

And answering him, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, There is no one that has left house or brethren or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands for my sake and the gospel's

And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no one that has left house or parents or brethren or wife or children for the kingdom of God's sake

For my father and my mother have left me, and the LORD has taken me up.

And ye shall be betrayed both by parents and brethren and kinsfolk and friends, and some of you they shall cause to be put to death.
