but he that is married cares for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.
There is a difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman cares for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit; but she that is married cares for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
The wife does not have authority of her own body, but the husband; and likewise also the husband does not have authority of his own body, but the wife.
His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not expedient to marry.
Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
When a man has taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business; but he shall be free at home one year and shall cheer up his wife whom he has taken.
And the woman who has a husband that does not believe and if he consents to dwell with her, let her not leave him.
A man shall not take his father's wife, nor uncover his father's skirt.
Now concerning the things of which ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence, and likewise also the wife unto the husband.
And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife separate from her husband;
Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
For the husband is the head of the wife even as the Christ is head of the congregation , and it is he who gives saving health to the body.
and they that were two shall be made one flesh, so then they are no longer two, but one flesh.
The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband lives; but if her husband dies, she is free and may be married to whom she will, if it is in the Lord.

For the woman who is subject to a husband is obligated to the law so long as the husband lives; but if the husband dies, she is free from the law of the husband.
For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
If a man should entice a virgin that is not betrothed and lie with her, he shall surely endow her and take her to be his wife.
saying, Master, Moses said, If a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife and raise up seed unto his brother.

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife; and they shall be one flesh.
and if she separates, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband, and let not the husband put away his wife.
And what man is there that has betrothed a wife and has not taken her? Let him go and return unto his house lest peradventure he die in the battle and another man take her.
Neither shalt thou take a woman together with her sister, to make her a rival, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her lifetime.
When brethren dwell together and one of them dies and has no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry outside unto a stranger; her husband's brother shall go in unto her and take her to him to wife and perform the duty of a husband's brother unto her.
For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.
And he shall take a wife in her virginity.
