And he said to me, My grace suffices thee; for my power is perfected in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather boast in my weaknesses, that the power of the Christ may dwell upon me.
and what the surpassing greatness of his power towards us who believe, according to the working of the might of his strength, in which he wrought in the Christ in raising him from among the dead, and he set him down at his right hand in the heavenlies,
But to him that is able to do far exceedingly above all which we ask or think, according to the power which works in us,
Whereunto also I toil, combating according to his working, which works in me in power.
I thank thee, and I praise thee, O God of my fathers, Who hast given me wisdom and might, And hast made known unto me already what we desired of thee; For thou hast made known unto us the king's matter.
Ye are of God, children, and have overcome them, because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.
And having called together the twelve, he gave them power and authority over all demons, and to heal diseases,
and with great power did the apostles give witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all.
For the arms of our warfare are not fleshly, but powerful according to God to the overthrow of strongholds;
strengthened with all power according to the might of his glory unto all endurance and longsuffering with joy;
To which end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of the calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness and the work of faith with power,
Be not therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner; but suffer evil along with the glad tidings, according to the power of God;
Jehovah hath done what he had devised; he hath fulfilled his word which he had commanded from the days of old: he hath thrown down, and hath not spared, and he hath caused the enemy to rejoice over thee; he hath set up the horn of thine adversaries.
