But God is able to make every gracious gift abound towards you, that, having in every way always all-sufficiency, ye may abound to every good work:

Since therefore the children partake of blood and flesh, he also, in like manner, took part in the same, that through death he might annul him who has the might of death, that is, the devil;

For we have not a high priest not able to sympathise with our infirmities, but tempted in all things in like manner, sin apart.

being able to exercise forbearance towards the ignorant and erring, since he himself also is clothed with infirmity;

But he gives more grace. Wherefore he says, God sets himself against the proud, but gives grace to the lowly.

Ye therefore, beloved, knowing these things before, take care lest, being led away along with the error of the wicked, ye should fall from your own stedfastness: but grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

Let us approach therefore with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and find grace for seasonable help.

Turn toward me, and be gracious unto me; for I am solitary and afflicted.

and with great power did the apostles give witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all.

And the report concerning them reached the ears of the assembly which was in Jerusalem, and they sent out Barnabas to go through as far as Antioch: who, having arrived and seeing the grace of God, rejoiced, and exhorted all with purpose of heart to abide with the Lord;

they glorifying God through the proof of this ministration, by reason of your subjection, by profession, to the glad tidings of the Christ, and your free-hearted liberality in communicating towards them and towards all; and in their supplication for you, full of ardent desire for you, on account of the exceeding grace of God which is upon you.

Let your word be always with grace, seasoned with salt, so as to know how ye ought to answer each one.

But as fellow-workmen, we also beseech that ye receive not the grace of God in vain:

So that, my beloved, even as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much rather in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you both the willing and the working according to his good pleasure.

watching lest there be any one who lacks the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it;

Likewise ye younger, be subject to the elder, and all of you bind on humility towards one another; for God sets himself against the proud, but to the humble gives grace.
