But now, O LORD, you are our father; we are the clay, and you our potter; and we all are the work of your hand. Be not exceedingly angry, O LORD, neither remember iniquity forever: behold, see, we beseech you, we are all your people.

Like as a father pities his children, so the LORD pities them that fear him. For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust.

Doubtless you are our father, though Abraham is ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledges us not: you, O LORD, are our father, our redeemer; your name is from everlasting.

After this manner therefore pray: Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.read more.

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he has consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And having a high priest over the house of God;read more.
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in him.

And it is yet far more evident: that after the similitude of Melchizedek there arises another priest, Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. For he testifies, You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.read more.
For there is verily an annulment of the previous commandment because of the weakness and uselessness thereof. For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by which we draw near unto God.

The LORD is near unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

With my soul have I desired you in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek you early: for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for you: be their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.

The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeks him.
