Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thus with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
And all things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
And you shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart.
I entreated your favor with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to your word.
When I remember these things, I pour out my soul within me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday.
You worship you know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
When I cry unto you, then shall my enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us:
Saying, Father, if you be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but yours, be done.

And he would not for awhile: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubles me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she wearies me. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall not God avenge his own elect, who cry day and night unto him, though he bears long with them?
Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusts in God, and continues in supplications and prayers night and day.
Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
