But the wise answered, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage; and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answering said, Verily I say to you, I know you not.

And he said to another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, Suffer me first to go and bury my father. Jesus said to him, Let the dead bury their dead, but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. But the young man, hearing that saying, went away sorrowful; for he had great possessions.

And herein I give my advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun a year ago, not only to do, but also to do it willingly. Now therefore compleat the work, that as there was a ready will, so there may be also a performance, in proportion to what ye have. For if there be first a ready mind, a man is accepted, according to what he hath, not according to what he hath not.read more.
